About Us

Dixon Exterminating Co., Inc. was founded in December of 1963 by H.T. (Tommy) Dixon.  Mary Dixon, his wife, was in charge of billing. His sister Edith was the bookkeeper. Initially, the company was operated out of their household. As the family and business slowly grew, all family members were involved in one way or another.

By 1990 both Dixon sons, Charles and Thomas, were involved in the Family business as their chosen profession. In 1990, Sonshine pest control of Bainbridge, GA was acquired, increasing the businesses coverage area to include most of southwest Georgia. In 1997 Conradi pest control ‘s residential services were acquired.

In 2000, Dixon was licensed in the state of Florida to perform pest and termite Management services. An office is located at 383 E. York St. in Monticello, Fl. Our office in Thomasville, GA is located at 116 Business Circle. Dixon Currently staffs 14 employees.
Our Staff has 3 Certified Operators and 11 registered technicians. Through our association memberships we have access to an entomologist if needed.

Residentially, we service a 50 mile Radius of Thomasville. Commercially, we service a 100-mile radius of Thomasville. Charles M. Dixon is serving as Dixon’s president. Tommy still plays an active role in the company's management. Our successes are based on treating our internal and external clients with respect and providing prompt and dependable services to our market place. This philosophy has served us well for almost 40 years.
