What You Need To Know About Mosquito Management Programs
Because we are in the business of pest management, we’d love to be able to tell you that we can control the mosquito infestations that routinely plague this part of the country in warm-weather months. Unfortunately, we cannot make that claim – and neither can any other pest management provider. Mosquito infestations can be suppressed and reduced, but not controlled.

What’s more, the effectiveness of both of our treatment programs are being proven right now in actual use by our customers throughout this area. Spring & Summer Mosquito Backyard Reduction The first part of our treatment program is aimed at mosquitoes’ breeding grounds.  We start with a careful inspection of our customer’s property to identify and locate the breeding sites.  On the basis of this inspection, we recommend specific actions to take to alter and eliminate this pest’s breeding environments.  To supplement our customer’s actions aimed at eliminating the mosquito’s breeding sites, we then treat all of the identified sites with a larvicide that has been proven effective at reducing new infestations.  The second and final part of our program is aimed at reducing the living mosquito population.  This involves treatment of the mosquitoes’ day time hiding areas with an equally effective and well-tested residual adulticide. This tandem use of a larvicide and an adulticide is an excellent mosquito treatment strategy

Coastal Mister Automatic System The Coastal Mister tm system consists of a 55 reservoir, state of the art electrical motor and pump, digital timer, clear nylon tubing and stainless steel nozzles. The system delivers an exactly measured fine Pyrethrum –based mist delivered through precision nozzles. Pyrethrum is a biodegradable material derived from the Chrysanthemum flower. The system can be set to mist up to 8 times per day. Mosquitoes or other flying insects that are flying or resting in the treatment zones are hit with a non-residual lethal dose. This system is especially effective in heavily infested areas such as horse barns or dog kennels. The system can also be installed around the exterior of your home and property. Upon inspection of the property, treatment zones are defined and the system is installed. This system gives you year round protection from Mosquitoes and other flying insects.
